What a role pays in a city, who sponsors visas for it, what is open right now, and how many people are working. The wage figures come from filings employers actually made, so they are what was paid rather than what people say they earn.

Then tell me what a senior data engineer is paid in Seattle according to visa wage filings, which employers file the most of them, and what is open right now. Everything above answers with no external key. O*NET and CareerOneStop are the two exceptions. Both are free from the US Department of Labor, and both say so plainly if you call them without one.

What data sources are included in WorkSignal?
Job postings from Adzuna (16 countries, with salary histograms), USAJOBS for US federal vacancies, Arbeitnow for Europe, and two remote-only boards. Wage and market data from Department of Labor wage filings, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and ILOSTAT for the rest of the world. O*NET and CareerOneStop cover the occupation itself, and Form 5500 covers employer benefit-plan disclosure.
Where do the salary figures come from?
Mostly from Labor Condition Applications — the wage an employer stated to the US Department of Labor when sponsoring a visa. That makes them filings rather than survey responses: what a named company said it would pay for a named title in a named city, with a date attached. The coverage is skewed toward roles that get sponsored, which is worth knowing before you generalise from it. BLS series cover the broader market, and CareerOneStop gives occupation wage distributions if you bring a free DOL key.
Do I need API keys for this vertical?
Not for the job boards, the wage filings, BLS, ILOSTAT or Form 5500. O*NET and CareerOneStop are the two exceptions — both are free from the US Department of Labor, and both tell you which argument to pass the key in when you call them without one.
Can I search my own applicant tracking system through this?
Not through this bundle. Greenhouse, Ashby and BambooHR are in the Pipeworx catalog and connect with your own credentials. They answer questions about your own pipeline, though, not about the market. This bundle is meant to work the moment you connect it, so they are kept separate.
