uiuc_airfoil_search
Pack: uiuc-airfoils · Connect: https://pipeworx.io/mcp (see Connect below for a single-pack URL)
No MCP client? Call it directly: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/uiuc_airfoil_search for the schema, then POST the same URL with its arguments for the data.
Search the UIUC Airfoil Coordinates Database (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Applied Aerodynamics Group) by name or family — e.g. “naca”, “eppler”, “selig”, “goettingen”, “wortmann”, “drela ag”, “clark y”, or part of an airfoil’s own code (e.g. “2412”, “s1223”). Returns the total match count first, then up to limit airfoil names/descriptions/families. Use uiuc_airfoil_geometry for coordinates and computed thickness/camber.
