ra_search_areas
Pack: resident-advisor · Connect: https://pipeworx.io/mcp (see Connect below for a single-pack URL)
No MCP client? Call it directly: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/ra_search_areas for the schema, then POST the same URL with its arguments for the data.
Look up Resident Advisor area ids by city/region/country name (e.g. “London”, “Berlin”, “Tokyo”). Returns each matching area with its numeric id, event/venue counts and country — the id is what ra_event_listings needs for its area_id argument.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
query | string | yes | City, region or country name to search for, e.g. “London”. |
limit | number | no | Max areas to return (default 10, max 20). |
