No MCP client? Call it directly: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/subreddit_activity for the schema, then POST the same URL with its arguments for the data.
Reddit subreddit identity and activity over time, via the Arctic Shift archive: subscriber count, subreddit creation date, all-time post/comment totals, earliest indexed post/comment, and monthly post/comment counts within a date window (default: the last 12 months). A subreddit Arctic Shift has never indexed is reported as a loud not-found error, never a silent empty result.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
subreddit | string | yes | Subreddit name without the r/ prefix, e.g. “datasets”. |
after | string | no | Optional ISO date (e.g. “2024-01-01”) for the monthly-activity window; default is 12 months ago. |
before | string | no | Optional ISO date (e.g. “2025-01-01”) for the monthly-activity window; default is today. |
