ky_search
Pack: kentucky-code · Connect: https://pipeworx.io/mcp (see Connect below for a single-pack URL)
No MCP client? Call it directly: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/ky_search for the schema, then POST the same URL with its arguments for the data.
Search the Kentucky Revised Statutes BY TOPIC or keyword rather than citation — “security deposit”, “concealed carry”, “DUI per se limit”, “homicide”. Real full-text search over the statutory body text, not just catchlines: a query like “landlord” surfaces KRS 383.580 (“Security deposits”) even though that catchline contains neither word. Returns matching citations and catchlines; call ky_statute with a citation for the full text. Keyless.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
query | string | yes | Topic or keywords, e.g. “security deposit return”. |
limit | number | no | Max results to return, default 10, max 50. |
