id_statute

Pack: idaho-code · Connect: https://pipeworx.io/mcp (see Connect below for a single-pack URL)

No MCP client? Call it directly: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/id_statute for the schema, then POST the same URL with its arguments for the data.

Get the FULL TEXT of a section of the Idaho Statutes (Idaho Code) by citation. “18-4001” is murder; “32-717” lists child custody factors. Accepts natural forms: “18-4001”, “Idaho Code 18-4001”, “I.C. § 18-4001”. Returns the current statutory text, the official catchline, chapter/title context, and the amendment HISTORY line Idaho prints on nearly every section (e.g. “[18-4001, added 1972, ch. 336, sec. 1, p. 928; am. 1977…]”). Idaho publishes the CURRENT text only — no per-year historical archive of statute text (only session-law PDF volumes organized by session chapter, not by Code citation); this tool says so rather than guessing. Keyless. Use for “what does Idaho Code 18-4001 say” or to check an Idaho statute a case or lease relies on.
