No MCP client? Call it directly: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/faa_reg_lookup for the schema, then POST the same URL with its arguments for the data.
Look up a US aircraft tail number (N-number) in the FAA civil aircraft registry: manufacturer, model, serial number, engine, airworthiness class, registrant type, registration status, certificate issue/expiration dates, and deregistration if the N-number has left the active registry. Give the N-number with or without the leading “N” (“N12345” or “12345”). Registrant NAME is returned ONLY for non-individual registrant types (corporation, LLC, partnership, co-owned, government) — an individual registrant’s name is personal data and is withheld, with the response saying so; a deregistered record never returns a registrant name at all, because the historical file carries no registrant-type column to tell individuals apart from entities. Sourced from the FAA’s own daily bulk registry file (public domain), refreshed daily — every response carries data_as_of. Keyless.
