ai_model
Pack: epoch-ai-models · Connect: https://pipeworx.io/mcp (see Connect below for a single-pack URL)
No MCP client? Call it directly: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/ai_model for the schema, then POST the same URL with its arguments for the data.
Look up one AI model in Epoch AI’s models database by name — organization, release date, parameter count, training-compute (FLOP) estimate, hardware, accessibility. Resolves dated variants (e.g. “GPT-4” matches Epoch AI’s “GPT-4 (Mar 2023)” row). An unmatched name returns found:false with the closest names in the dataset, never an empty result.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
name | string | yes | Model name, e.g. “GPT-4”, “Gemini 1.5 Pro”, “Llama 3.1 405B” |
