No MCP client? Call it directly: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/dc_statute for the schema, then POST the same URL with its arguments for the data.
Get the FULL TEXT of a section of the District of Columbia Code (D.C. Code) — DC statutes — by citation. “22-2101” is murder in the first degree; “42-3505.01” covers eviction notice requirements. Accepts natural forms: “22-2101”, “D.C. Code § 22-2101”, “DC Code 22-2101”. Returns the current statutory text, the official heading, disposition (in force / repealed / transferred / reserved), legislative History annotations, Prior Codifications, and Cross References. The DC Council’s own GitHub source (DCCouncil/law-xml-codified, public domain) publishes the CURRENT codified text only — a prior (pre-amendment) version’s exact text is not available through this source; this tool says so rather than guessing. Keyless. Use for “what does D.C. Code 22-2101 say” or to check a DC statute a case or lease relies on.
