member_committees
Pack: congress · Connect: https://pipeworx.io/mcp (see Connect below for a single-pack URL)
No MCP client? Call it directly: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/member_committees for the schema, then POST the same URL with its arguments for the data.
ANSWERS “what committees is X on” / “committee assignments for Senator X” — returns every committee and subcommittee assignment (committee name, chamber, rank, title) for one member of the 119th Congress, identified by their bioguide id (the standard Congress.gov/GovInfo member identifier, e.g. “N000015” for Richard Neal — committee_leadership and committee_members both return bioguide ids for the members they list, so look a member up there first if you only have a name). SOURCE: github.com/unitedstates/congress-legislators (public domain), baked periodically, current Congress only.
