List or search the 261 entities in the CIA World Factbook — sovereign countries, dependencies and territories, the oceans, the European Union and the World — with their Factbook (GEC) codes and regions. Use to find how the Factbook names a place (“Burma”, “Congo (Brazzaville)”, “DRC”) or to list every entity in a region such as africa or central-america-n-caribbean.

Parameters

`query`	string	no	Name substring to search, e.g. “guinea” or “island”. Omit to list all.
`region`	string	no	Restrict to one Factbook region.
`limit`	number	no	Max rows (default 50, max 300).
