Tool description as the model sees it

Top NCM chapters (broad product categories) Brazil traded with a given country in a given year, from MDIC Comex Stat (live proxy). Sorted descending by value (USD FOB). Use for “what does Brazil export to China” (country=“China”, year=“2025”) or “top US imports from Brazil in 2025” (flow=“import”, country=“United States”, year=“2025” — note: Comex Stat reports flow from BRAZIL’s side, so flow=“import” means Brazil’s imports FROM that country).

Parameters

Name	Type	Required	Description
`flow`	string	no	Trade direction from Brazil’s side: “export” or “import”. Defaults to “export”.
`country`	string	yes	Partner country name (e.g. “China”) or Comex Stat country id.
`year`	string	yes	4-digit year (e.g. “2025”).
`limit`	number	no	Max product chapters to return. Defaults to 10, capped at 50.
